Thousands of feet in the air, Jim Dorsey sat on the wing of a biplane. No straps, no parachute, just trust in his pilot and a love for danger. Advertisement

In 1982, Dorsey earned the title of the "world’s only wing walker." At 2,000 feet, his pilot executed daring stunts as Dorsey balanced on the plane’s wing. Even as the aircraft reached speeds of 140 mph, Dorsey remained calm through every loop, flip and roll.

“It’s the most fun you can have in daylight with your clothes on!” he joked, unfazed by the risk.
