An express shuttle bus service for casino workers and other commuters is now running between Vineland and Atlantic City .

The bus line, which launched Oct. 1, offers two express round trips each weekday, according to NJ Transit .

“This express shuttle helps remove a key barrier for (Cumberland County) residents seeking employment in Atlantic City by making their commute more direct and efficient,” said Kris Kolluri, NJ Transit's president and CEO.

Departures from the Vineland Transportation Center are scheduled for 5:35 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., heading to the Atlantic City Bus Terminal. Arrival times in Atlantic City are to be 6:35 a.m. and 2:35 p.m., respectively.

Each bus is to have a 45-minute layover in Atlantic City to accommodate workers' shift changes, the statement said.
