As a former President of the Greater Utica Landmark Society and chair of Clinton, New York’s Historic Preservation Commission, I’ve written historic preservation law, presented seminars on house dating at Bennington Museum, served on zoning boards and as a member of local historical societies. I’m currently a member of the Bennington Historic Preservation Commission, and over the decades I’ve worked with many builders and homeowners on restoration of 18th- and 19th-century houses, including my own 1850s home.
