Lamar Jackson is not practicing Friday, another sign that he could miss Sunday's game against the Houston Texans.

Jackson hasn't practiced since suffering a hamstring injury in the Ravens' loss in Kansas City on Sunday. Cooper Rush is in line to start if Jackson is ruled out.

It would be Jackson's first missed game due to injury since 2022, when he suffered a sprained MCL (knee). Jackson missed the Ravens' final five regular-season games that season and their playoff loss in Cincinnati.

While losing Jackson stings, the Ravens have expressed confidence in Rush's ability to operate the offense at a high level. Rush is 9-5 as a starter over his career and the Ravens signed him to be Jackson's backup for exactly this scenario.
