The Deputy Prime Minister was heckled at a vigil for those killed in the Crumpsall synagogue terror attack.

David Lammy was among those who spoke at the event this afternoon (Friday), held close to the scene of the tragedy at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue yesterday.

As Mr Lammy was introduced, there were boos from some members of the watching audience, including cries of 'shame on you.'

'Go to Palestine, leave us alone', 'you’ve allowed it to grow on the campuses' and 'you have blood on your hands' could also be heard as anger and frustration boiled over following the horrific attack.
