In addition to being the Abbotsford-Mission MLA, Reann Gasper now has a new responsibility on her plate, which is serving as the BC Conservative Party's deputy caucus whip.
Gasper is one of the newer additions to the Legislative Assembly, making her debut in 2024 after beating the incumbent NDP minister Pam Alexis.
Up until this recent switch, she had served as the party's critic for Child Care, Children and Youth with Support Needs.
She takes over the deputy caucus whip position from Prince George-North Cariboo MLA Sheldon Clare, who has now been moved into the role of the critic for Environment, Parks, Emergency Management and Climate Readiness.
This is just one of several changes made in a recent shadow cabinet shuffling from Conservative leader John Rustad.
