HBO has added seven recurring stars to the cast of “ The Comeback ” Season 3, including Julian Stern, the son of series star Lisa Kudrow .

Along with Stern, the new cast members include Abbi Jacobson , John Early , Barry Shabaka Henley, Tony Macht, Brittany O’Grady and Zane Phillips. Details surrounding their characters remain under wraps.

Kudrow leads the as Valerie Cherish, a former sitcom actress who fights to return to the limelight. Other returning cast members include Dan Bucatinsky as Billy Stanton, Valerie’s publicist; Laura Silverman as Jane Benson, producer of Valerie’s reality show; and Damian Young as Valerie’s husband, Mark Berman. Tim Bagley, Matt Cook, Jack O’Brien and Ella Stiller were previously reported to be joining the cast for Season 3.
