AKRON, Ohio — The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify a "badly decomposed" body found in Akron.
According to a Facebook post from the medical examiner on Friday, the remains were discovered on Sept. 30, in a wooded area next to a parking lot at 1 Gojo Plaza.
Following an examination, investigators determined the remains appear to be a white male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing between 170 and 200 pounds. The man had brown, crew-cut-style hair and visible chin hair. Officials said he had natural teeth with no dental work.
The unidentified man was wearing a pair of extra-large “West Loop” sweatpants and “Fruit of the Loom” boxer shorts. Investigators also noted two tattoos: a star on his upper back and the phrase “Family 1
