Unai Emery has provided an update on Emi Martinez ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash against Burnley.

Villa will be targeting their fourth successive win in all competitions this weekend, following their 2-0 victory over Feyenoord in the Europa League at De Kuip on Thursday night.

The win in the Netherlands came after back-to-back home victories against Bologna and Fulham.

Martinez did not feature against Feyenoord after picking up a calf problem during the warm-up and was replaced by Marco Bizot, who performed exceptionally well in the Argentine’s absence.
