Los Angeles, CA — South Los Angeles-based Climate Advocate, Educator, and California State Assembly District 65 candidate Fatima Iqbal-Zubair has announced she has received an endorsement from Racial Justice Organizer, Former Holman United Methodist Church Pastor, and Black Alliance for Just Immigration (BAJI) Co-Founder Reverend Kelvin Sauls.

“I am proud to endorse Fatima Iqbal-Zubair for Assembly because she embodies the moral courage and compassion needed in public service. Fatima understands that justice is not just a policy goal but a moral imperative—whether it’s fighting for clean air, quality schools, or safety for all of our neighbors. Her leadership reflects the values of equity, dignity, and hope that our communities deserve,” stated Reverend Kelvin Sauls.
