As the second Amazon location in Wood County prepares to open, ground is being broken on a third Amazon warehouse.

This third Amazon site, on Oregon Road in Perrysburg Township, will likely spur light industrial development throughout the area, said Brian McMahon, president of Danberry National Ltd.

The $30 million, 200,000-square-foot warehouse is expected to employ 150 people full time and have an annual payroll of $4.64 million. Ambrose Property Group owns the building, which is on 36.57 acres on the west side of Oregon Road north of State Rt. 795, and leases it to Amazon.

Ambrose is also developing the Amazon warehouse on Fremont Pike, which is expected to open in the next few weeks.
