CLEVELAND, Ohio – Malley’s Chocolates, Great Lakes Brewing Co. and Heinen’s have teamed up on a joint product: Toffee Amber Lager, a beer inspired by Malley’s Bordeaux chocolate.

The beer debuts today - Friday, Oct. 3 - and will be sold at Heinen’s in six-packs of 12-ounce cans for $12.99, as well as on draft at select locations. Limited cases will be available at the Great Lakes brewpub and gift shop in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood.

Malley’s Bordeaux is English toffee with almond bits mixed with milk chocolate. Each piece is rolled in a crunchy chopped almond topping.

Toffee Amber Lager is 6.1% alcohol and is billed as having notes of toffee, chocolate and a touch of almond-nut aroma from caramelized malts.
