RUSKIN, Fla. (WFLA) — A man was arrested on Wednesday after being accused of sending online threats to an Amazon Fulfillment Center in Ruskin, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
On Sept. 27, deputies said that a former employee of the Amazon center, identified as 29-year-old Christopher Allen Colontonio, allegedly sent two emails threatening the company following his termination.
Detectives who were investigating the threats determined that the emails were sent by Colontonio. They said that Colontonio later admitted to sending the messages.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office arrested Colontonio and charged him with one count of written or electronic threat to kill or do bodily injury and one count of written or electronic threat to conduct a mass shooting or ac
