Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced on Friday the latest strike on a "narco-trafficking" boat near Venezuela and shared a video of the reported strike.

The strike comes less than a day after it was revealed that President Trump declared drug cartels to be unlawful combatants and declared that the United States is now in an “armed conflict” with them, according to a memo obtained by The Associated Press.

In the video, a boat can be seen in "international waters just off the coast of Venezuela," Hegseth wrote. Suddenly, it is struck and combusts into fire and smoke.
