BOONVILLE, Mo - A Kansas City man is facing drug charges in Cooper County following his arrest Wednesday evening.

According to a probable cause statement, Boonville Police stopped a vehicle on Seventh Street. They questioned both the driver and the passenger, 60-year-old Gerald Crowley. During questioning Crowley denied consent for a search of the vehicle or of himself.

A K9 unit was brought in and located a backpack that belonged to Crowley. It contained 15.4 grams of a crystal substance, along with four glass pipes that contained methamphetamine residue. A ledger was also found with Crowley's name and an itemized list of names, weights, and amounts consistent with the sale of illegal narcotics.
