Emergency services were scrambled to help a plane that landed during Storm Amy. Eyewitnesses had seen several ambulances being called to the airport to the deal with the situation. ‌

Storm Amy is starting to make landfall on the UK, as the winds pick up and Britain is pelted with non-stop rain. As a result, travel is expected to be disrupted across Friday (October 3) and well into Saturday (October 4) due to the strength of the wind and rain forecast . ‌
