DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) -- At least one person is dead and another injured after a shooting at an apartment complex Friday morning.

Sheriff Eric Blankenship said the shooting occurred at around 11:30 a.m. at Greentree Apartments.

Sheriff Blankenship says one suspect is in custody. It is currently unknown if there is more than one suspect involved.

The details on the shooting are limited at this time.

The shooting is under investigation by the Headland Police Department and the Henry County Sheriff's Office.
