KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Halloween fun returns to the East Tennessee History Center with the ‘Monsters at the Museum’ event during October.

Guests will have the opportunity to trick-or-treat through the museum and learn all about the history of jack-o-lanterns, broom making, granny witches, spooky spiders and more.

Each station will have a volunteer-led interactive display with activities to explore local spooky history.

The family friendly event features:

Halloween themed arts and crafts

Trick-or-treating in the museum

Appalachian legends and folklore

Scavenger hunts

Monsters at the Museum is organized by the East Tennessee Historical Society in partnership with the Knox County Library and support from the Downtown Knoxville Alliance and Mast General Stores.

Costumes are allowed
