Mangaluru, Oct 3: The spectacular 'Mangaluru Dasara' grand procession, organised by Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatha Temple, concluded in the early hours of Friday, marking the official end of the city’s most vibrant and awaited annual celebration.

The majestic procession, led by the idol of Goddess Sharada, began on Thursday evening from the temple premises in Kudroli and returned there by Friday morning. The immersion ceremony, known as Jalastambhana, was performed at dawn, symbolising the spiritual conclusion of the ten-day festivities.

The colourful event witnessed the participation of lacs of devotees lining the streets of Mangaluru to witness the vibrant tableaux, traditional performances, and cultural displays.
