Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar, accompanied by Election Commissioners Dr Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr Vivek Joshi, arrived in Patna on Friday night for a two-day visit to assess preparations for the Bihar Assembly elections set to be held later this year.

On Saturday, the commission is scheduled to engage with representatives of political parties, law enforcement officers, and district-level election officers to review administrative arrangements. The following day, a review of enforcement measures aimed at ensuring transparency will take place.
