KENTUCKY (WKYT) - Beyond Keeneland’s Fall Meet opening weekend, Central Kentucky offers plenty of entertainment options, from bourbon tastings to prehistoric adventures.

Bourbon on the Banks Festival
The annual Bourbon on the Banks Festival takes place Saturday in Frankfort, featuring samples from over 70 distilleries as well as wineries and breweries along the Kentucky River.
The ticketed event at River View Park will include live music, food vendors and bourbon-themed artisans. A free Goodwood After Party at the Farmer’s Pavilion runs from 5 to 9 p.m., headlined by American Idol winner Noah Thompson.
