A Redwood City nonprofit launched a campaign to raise funds to "double its lifesaving capacity."
Nine Lives Foundation officials announced their Finding Our Furever Home campaign on Monday, aimed to raise $2.5 million for the construction of the nonprofit's new state-of-the-art adoption center. The nonprofit says the center will "double its [Nine Lives Foundation] lifesaving capacity by 2028."
The nonprofit says it already has raised $1.8 million, but it still needs help to handle the fast-growing cat population.
