MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. -- An investigation is underway after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Morgan County.

According to Morgan County Sheriff Richard Myers, deputies are on the scene of a fatal crash near SR 42 and Antioch Road that has closed all lanes in both directions.

Myers said preliminary information indicates an SUV pulled in front of a motorcycle as it was passing through the area. The male motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene following the crash.

The sheriff added that SR 42 will remain closed for an extended time as crash reconstruction teams arrive to assist.
