LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Thoroughbred racing officially returned to Keeneland on Friday as fans lined up to experience the track’s new renovations on opening day of the Fall Meet.

Fans were waiting in line Friday morning anticipating the start of the 2025 Fall Meet, and with it now underway everyone is excited for the weekend of fun ahead.
As the clock struck 11 a.m., fans walked through the new grand east entrance, greeted by live music, smiling staff and a newly imagined paddock.
Horse racing fans Jason Phillips and Casey Higgins drove up from Virginia for the Fall Meet, continuing a tradition they’ve maintained for more than a decade.
