Beckham Edwards didn’t wait long to collect his first Ontario Hockey League goal.
The Sarnia Sting centre scored the first of his team-leading 25 markers last season in the first period of his first OHL game.
The wait this season wasn’t much longer, but even that two-game drought was enough to create a little pressure.
“I had lots of chances in the first two games, but they weren’t going in,” he said. “Just finding one just gets the weight off the shoulders a little bit.”
