Supporters of a pair of families are hosting a night of laughs for a good cause at The Roxy in downtown Rochester on Oct. 16.
The second annual Brad Reckling Comedy for a Cause honors Madison Heights officer Kyle Kreger who lost his battle with brain cancer on Sept. 15 and Warren officer Nick Kott, who suffered a debilitating spine injury last year and is facing a long road to recovery.
The event is supported by the Oakland County Deputy Sheriff’s Family Benevolent Fund and the Warren Police and Fire Benevolent Association.
“It goes to the law enforcement spirit when officers from other jurisdictions are willing to help families of officers,” said Warren Benevolent Fund vice president John Gajewski.
The show will feature comedians Sal Demilio, Chad Jagotka, Tam White, and Billy Ray Bau
