Dear Care and Feeding,

I had to take my sister to the hospital when she went into labor two weeks early. My husband was out of town on business, so that meant having my mother-in-law, “Ruth” watch our two girls, “Indigo,” 6, and “Rain,” 8, while I was gone. The moment I returned home, Indigo and Rain came running up in tears. As it turned out, Ruth had thrown away all of their KPop Demon Hunters toys. Ruth is very religious, and the reason she gave was that she believed it encouraged devil worship. When I asked her if she had ever seen anything related to KPop Demon Hunters or could tell me anything about it, she said it didn’t matter—she was “saving the kids’ souls”.
