MERIDIAN, Idaho — Meridian police arrested a driver after a hit-and-run crash left a pedestrian injured.
According to Jordan Robinson, public safety public information officer for the Meridian Police Department, officers responded to the 2200 block of East Deerhill Drive at 1:29 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, following reports of a crash with injuries.
Police found a vehicle with significant rear-end damage at the intersection of East Deerhill Drive and South Marsala Avenue, and reported that debris was scattered across the roadway, including parts from a Hyundai SUV.
The department said the victim was standing near the rear of their vehicle when the SUV hit them. They were taken to a local hospital.
