Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, a member of Oasis, is taking a break from touring amid a cancer diagnosis.
The guitarist for the British rock band revealed in an Oct. 3 Instagram post that earlier this year he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. While he has been "responding really well to treatment," he is now taking some scheduled time off and will be missing upcoming shows.
"Early this year I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. The good news is I'm responding really well to treatment, which meant I could be part of this incredible tour," Arthurs wrote, sharing he is taking a "planned break for the next phase of my care."
Arthurs wrote that he will be missing the Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne and Sydney dates the band has scheduled at the end of this month and early November.
