The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office offered new details about the arrest of a man accused of killing two metro Phoenix teens who were camping northeast of Phoenix back in May.
In a case that had vexed investigators for months, the Sheriff's Office arrested and booked 31-year-old Thomas Brown in connection with the deaths of Evan Clark, 17, and Pandora Kjolsrud, 18 , according to spokesperson Calbert Gillett.
Clark and Kjolsrud were found with gunshot wounds just off State Route 87 near Mount Ord, north of Sunflower, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, whose deputies found the bodies on May 27. At the scene, investigators found shell casings and blood on various items, including a pair of gloves and a pillowcase, inside Clark's silver Mercedes SUV.
