It's not too often that one of Montana's few privately-owned hot springs goes up for sale, but a big one just came on the market.
Sleeping Buffalo Hot Springs Resort, located on the Hi-Line about 10 miles west of the town of Saco, has been listed for $10.7 million.
"As the only hot springs resort in northeastern Montana, Sleeping Buffalo Hot Springs has attracted guests and mineral water enthusiasts from across the country and Canada since the 1920s," says the real estate listing. "Offered as a turnkey business, the resort includes income-generating lodging, gourmet dining, event space, and mineral pools, all ready for immediate ownership and offered turn-key for uninterrupted operation."
