SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- San Diego County Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk Jordan Marks announced that San Diegans have one last chance this year to get documents certified locally.
Apostille services are for certifying the authenticity of documents for international use, including birth, death and marriage certificates, educational documents and others. The process involves getting documents signed by a public official, specifically someone with the California Secretary of State.
The last in-person apostille event in San Diego will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at the ARCC Downtown office.
There have been three separate apostille pop-up shops in San Diego so far this year -- on Sept. 17, June 11 and March 12.
