Just about every Blue Jays fan has a favourite era.

Maybe it’s the 1980s, when George Bell, Lloyd Moseby and Jesse Barfield patrolled the outfield and right-hander Dave Stieb dominated like few others could. Or the ’90s, when Joe Carter, Roberto Alomar, John Olerud and Devon White became nationwide stars.

In the 2000s, there was individual greatness in Roy Halladay and Carlos Delgado, but not enough team wins to justify much love. José Bautista , Edwin Encarnación and Josh Donaldson were then among those who snapped a 22-year post-season drought in 2015 and along the way created a whole new army of supporters.
