ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The University of New Mexico Hospital will officially open its new Critical Care Tower to patients on Sunday.

Anyone requiring emergency services or staying in the ICU will be accommodated, and most surgeries will be performed in its new suites.

UNMH said it has been working closely with EMS partners—including fire departments, ambulance services, and air transport teams—to ensure a smooth transition. Patients arriving by personal vehicle should know the following information.
