A paraprofessional school employee at Seminole County’s Sabal Point Elementary school in Longwood is no longer on the job. He quit amid an investigation into threats he says he thought about, and feared he might carry out.

Friday afternoon, anxious parents and Seminole County Sheriff’s deputies gathered outside the school office with moms and dads trying to get answers regarding some Facebook neighborhood posts. They said an employee was presenting some kind of threat, but they didn’t know if the threat remained, so dozens picked up their kids.
