KOTTAYAM: The Travancore Devaswom Board has issued an order appointing V Navaneeth, son of Bindu Visruthan from Vaikom who died in the Kottayam Medical College building collapse, to a post in the Board.

Navaneeth, an engineering graduate, has been appointed as a Third Grade Overseer in the Devaswom Board’s maintenance division, Minister VN Vasavan said. He will join duty at the Assistant Engineer’s office in Vaikom.

Earlier, the government had handed over the keys of a newly built house to the family. The Minister said that by also providing this job, the government is ensuring the security and stability of the family.
