X-Men fans are used to Laura Kinney operating as Marvel’s next gen Wolverine, but now she has been recast as the new Sabretooth, serving as an agent of the villain Revelation. Shockingly, her next targets are Logan’s biological son Akihiro and her own clone, Gabby Kinney .

Laura Kinney: Sabretooth #1 is written by Erica Schultz, with art by Valentina Pinti. Fans were already surprised upon learning Laura would take up the Sabretooth mantle in Age of Revelation , but pitting her against her own adopted siblings is a heartbreaking route for the series to go.

Especially if, by the issue’s end, she does what Wolverines, and Sabretooths, do best.
