The family of the security guard killed in yesterday's horrific attack on a north Manchester synagogue have paid tribute to him.
Melvin Cravitz, aged 66 and from Crumpsall, was named earlier today as one of two victims of the attack in Crumpsall yesterday (October 3).
British citizen Jihad al-Shamie, 35, drove at members of the public outside Heaton Park synagogue and attacked people with a knife while they attended for prayers on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar.
Mr Cravitz died along with Adrian Daulby, 53, who is understood to have barricaded the door. Three other people were seriously injured, while Al-Shamie was shot dead by armed police.
