MANCHESTER, N.H. —
A federal court is once again pausing a state law aimed at restricting diversity, equity and inclusion programs in New Hampshire public schools.
This law went into effect in July.

The lawsuit claims the law violates the First Amendment rights of educators and students. It also says it is unlawfully vague and would have forced K-12 public schools, as well as colleges and universities, to guess what was prohibited or risk losing funding.
Last month, a judge issued two temporary pauses on the law. This latest ruling will remain in effect until another order is issued.
