The city of Fort Worth is renaming part of South Calhoun Street in honor of Grammy-winning musician Leon Bridges.
City leaders passed a resolution to install street toppers marking “Leon Bridges Way” along the stretch between East Vickery Boulevard and East Broadway Avenue.

Bridges, who grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from Crowley High School, is considered one of the top voices in the music industry.
He’s known for hits like Coming Home . He has been nominated for multiple Grammy Awards and continues to thrive in both the film and music industries.
