LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Big changes are heading our way starting for the second half of the weekend, but Saturday continues the dry and unusually warm trend.
Starting off with our high temperatures, upper 80s to low 90s are likely along with gusts up to 40+ mph.
Dramatically cooler conditions return Sunday out west as a cold front moves through. Highs could range from the mid 60s to the mid 80s.
Meanwhile, we remain dry in Lincoln on Saturday, but showers and storms are possible in western Nebraska. On Sunday, those chances move into southeastern Nebraska particularly in the afternoon and evening.
Isolated severe storms are possible both Saturday and Sunday with damaging winds and large hail the main risks, with an isolated tornado not out of the question.
