TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Over a thousand gallons of wastewater reportedly spilled at 112 Feetwood Avenue in Tallahassee, according to a report from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

The report said crews were responding to a “citizen order report” in the area around 112 Fleetwood Avenue in the Jake Gaither neighborhood.

They found an “obstructed gravity main” that led to 1,800 gallons of wastewater to overflow into a nearby stormwater ditch, said the report.

The report said crews were able to recover 72,000 gallons of stormwater mixed with wastewater.
