Tyrese Gibson has turned himself in after a warrant was issued for his arrest in connection with an animal cruelty incident.

On Friday (October 3), the 46-year-old actor was booked in the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, Ga. on a misdemeanor charge, per FOX 5 Atlanta .

One of Tyrese ‘s Cane Corso dogs reportedly attacked one of the neighbor’s dogs , a small Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, in its own yard.

The Fast & Furious star’s dogs were believed to be off-leash and roaming freely through the neighborhood at the time of the attack.

Tyrese was released on a $20,000 bond shortly after his Friday arrest.

His lawyer recently shared a statement , revealing that the actor had “made the difficult decision to rehome his dogs to a safe and loving environment.”
