"Gilmore Girls" actor Lauren Graham received a star Friday on the Hollywood Walk of Fame .
Amy Sherman-Palladino, the creator of the hit show, was a guest speaker. She was joined by Sam Pancake, an actor, writer and comedian who appeared in two episodes of the 2016 "Gilmore Girls" sequel "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life," as emcee.

The ceremony was two days before the 25th anniversary of the premiere of "Gilmore Girls."
The star is at 6284 Hollywood Blvd. in front of the W Hollywood Hotel.
