SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- The family of a victim who died in a plane crash in San Diego earlier this year has filed a lawsuit against the estate of a music executive who also died in the crash.
Six people died when a Cessna Citation S550 crashed in the Murphy Canyon community of San Diego on May 22, authorities stated.
The plane had departed from Teterboro Airport in Teterboro, New Jersey and landed at Colonel James Jabara Airport in Wichita, Kansas the day before. On May 22, it was headed for Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport in San Diego.
However, the plane never made it to the destination and crashed in Murphy Canyon.
