NEMAHA COUNTY, Neb. —
The Nemaha County Sheriff's Office identified the teen who was killed in a crash.
The incident happened around 6:45 a.m. on Friday near 634 Avenue and Highway 136.
The preliminary investigation found a 2002 Ford Explorer that was driven by 17-year-old Ren Avery was headed north on 634 Avenue, and while crossing Highway 136, the Ford was hit by an eastbound 2015 Freightliner box truck that was driven by Yamuel Espinosa Gonzalez, 30 of Miami.
Avery was pronounced dead at the scene.
Espinosa Gonzalez was not injured.
The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
