LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg went to great heights to provide a hands-on demonstration of the city's new Drone as First-Responder program from the roof of one of the city's firehouses.
Greenberg posted a video of the demonstration on his X account on Oct. 3.
"We know that in the case of an emergency, seconds count, and that's why we're installing this program," Greenberg said in the video. "So whether it's fire, police, EMS, any one of our emergency services personnel can be here to get to the scene quicker, to provide information to the first responders who are on their way to help you, using new technology to keep you and Louisville safe."
Greenberg said the Skydio team is in the process of installing the drones on the roof of Louisville's firehouses.
