CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — In September the West Virginia Department of Education released its West Virginia Balanced Scorecard data, which gives a glimpse into how the Mountain State’s students are doing in math and English.
With students scoring about 5% worse in math than English, 12 News decided to take a closer look at the math data and present the data through some charts. In this data set, “Performance” is based on a sort of average among students in their performance in standardized tests: the WVGSA, the WVASA, and the SAT.
