SCHROON LAKE, N.Y. (ABC22/FOX44) - New York State Police said Friday that they were investigating after a car hit a state police cruiser.

According to authorities, at about 3:35 p.m. Friday, a state trooper was conducting a traffic stop on the northbound side of Interstate 87 in Schroon Lake. While the stop was ongoing, a third car hit the one operated by the state trooper.
