Trent Brown is healthy and ready to play for the Houston Texans.

The hulking offensive tackle has been signed to Houston’s 53-man roster, his agent told ESPN. Brown tore the patellar tendon in his knee last September as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals and had been sidelined since.

He signed a one-year deal with the Texans in March and spent the summer on the PUP list as he rehabbed the injury. Brown was cut at the end of training camp, signed to Houston’s practice squad as he kept working his way back, and now he’s ready to go.

The 32-year-old played his best football in New England during the 2018 season en route to a Super Bowl LIII victory.
